Abode at Great Kneighton wins RIBA National Award

Abode at Great Kneighton has won a RIBA National Award.

The RIBA National Awards are given to buildings across the UK recognised as significant contributions to architecture. Only 35 RIBA National Awards were made this year. Abode will now be considered alongside the other winners for inclusion on the shortlist for the RIBA Stirling Prize.

The Award for Abode at Great Kneighton is our second RIBA National Award in successive years, and we are thrilled to have been recognised in this way by the RIBA. We are extremely proud of Abode at Great Kneighton, which demonstrates that volume housing and great design can - and should - go hand in hand. Today's award follows on the heels of the top prize at this year's Civic Trust Awards and a clutch of awards from the RIBA East Region. It's a pleasure to see a successful community now thriving at Abode, and we are grateful to Countryside for being such a supportive client.
