Stephen Proctor was guest speaker and workshop leader at the Scottish Governments ‘Designing Places Student Design Competition and Workshop’ event held in Glasgow on 26th February 2011.

Competing groups of students from Universities across Scotland were asked to prepare concept designs for a new neighbourhood extension to Eaglesham – a Conservation village to the south west of Glasgow. The event was organised by Susie Stirling , Principal Planner at the Scottish Government and included presentations from Proctor and Matthews Architects and Waterman Boreham Engineers. Ian Gilzean, Chief Planner at the Scottish Government chaired the judging panel.
