Hargood Close, Proctor and Matthews' supported housing scheme for homeless people in Colchester, has won a RIBA East Regional Award. Stephen Proctor and Andrew Matthews were presented with the award at a ceremony on 10 April at Downing College, Cambridge. The award represents important recognition by the RIBA for the determination by Proctor and Matthews, together with their clients Family Mosaic and Colchester Borough Council, that housing provision for those at the very bottom of the housing ladder should nevertheless be of high quality.
