Bexhill Enterprise Park Masterplan is a commercial development located on the northeast fringe of Bexhill, East Sussex. Situated on the edge between urban and rural settings, this area has been identified as a strategic site for local and inward investment stimulating economic growth. Set within an environmentally sensitive context, the overarching concept for the scheme was to extend the surrounding natural woodlands and allow it to absorb both the proposed building forms and car parking areas.

The proposal includes delivery of up to 15,000sqm of flexible A grade office units and industrial spaces contained in a number of ‘gallery’ buildings. The buildings are each designed to allow for maximum flexibility through offering a range of different unit sizes to support different tenancy term agreements. Consisting of two wings of accommodation connected by a central glazed atria circulation space, each building is designed to be natural ventilated and supported by reception, meeting room and other shared support facilities.

Designed as an open meadowland gateway, the masterplan supports the sustainable development of the site through the maintenance of existing natural landscape elements. Through providing opportunity for the creation of new woodland areas, the scheme helps to improve local ecology and wildlife habitats. A pedestrian and cycle path is proposed to cross the site, connecting the masterplan with Bexhill town centre and the wider countryside.
