Designing inclusive Later Living communities for HAPPI residents

Designing inclusive Later Living communities for HAPPI residents

Director Constanze Leibrock is the latest contributor to The Housing Learning and Improvement Network (Housing LIN) with a case study examining how the HAPPI principles have been interpreted in three of our recent projects to promote social inclusion.

The network brings together housing, health and social care professionals from across the UK to exemplify innovative housing solutions for an ageing population.

The three schemes included in the report (John Dower House in Cheltenham, Steepleton in Tetbury and Chapter House in Lichfield) differ in size, setting and architectural form, but they have all been carefully designed around the needs of people as they age, aiming to give the residents a true sense of belonging in their new homes and neighbourhoods.

The case study is available to read and download on the link below.
